Mode of Action: Imidacloprid is an antagonist to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the central nervous system. It disturbs the proper signal transmission system leading to the excitation of the nerve cells. Consequently, a disorder of the nervous system occurs leading finally to the death of the treated insect.

Method of Application: Seed treatment
Additional Information
- Any small quantity of seed can be readily treated on the farm by mixing the proper amount of Gaucho and seed in a closed mixing drum. Roll the seed until each grain is uniformly coated with insecticide. Seed treatment on a commercial basis can be carried out by specialized seed dressing machines.
