  • 50 kg Secondary Nutrients (CA, MG & S)
  • 10 kg Micronutrient
  • 100 kg Neem Cake

SPACING: Two Side Plantation

  • General Method: 4 X 2 feet ( 10900 plants/Acre)
  • Best Method: 6 X 2 feet (7200 plants/Acre)

In 6 X 2 spacing method flower quality will be good, long harvesting duration & less disease & pest infestation due to better aeration than 4 X 2 spacing method.

SEEDLING PREPARATION:

  • Use 104 hole trays for sowing
  • 25 kg cocopit bag is sufficient for preparing 2000 seedlings
  • After sowing watering should be done by mixing 10 gm COC per 10 liter water, it avoids damping off & other soil borne diseases.

BED PREPARATION:

  • One ploughing and two harrowing should be done to bring soils to fine tilt.
  • Apply 10 tonns of Compost before last harrowing.
  • Basal dose should be given before preparation of Beds.
  • Apply thimate 2 kg per acre after transplanting in order to avoid the attack of cutworms.

TRANSPLANTING:

  • Generally seedlings will be ready for transplanting within 18 to 20 days.
  • Transplanting should be done in Zig Zag method to avoid competition for nutrition & for better aeration.
  • Drenching should be done with ALLETE on 5th day @ 450 gm per acre to avoid pythium & phytopthora
  • Drenching with Chloropyriphos 20% @ 500 ml per acre, if incidence of Cut Worm occurs.
