Light tan lesions appear on older leaves which spreads to stems from petioles, which leads to girdling of stem, die back and death of the plants. The infection appear as gray velvety spores on flowers and on calyx of the fruits, on both green and red fruits. Pale white ring spots on green and yellow ring spots on ripe fruits. The soft rotting of fruits occurs, leading to the development of gray fuzzy mold. It creates major economic damage to the crops, effective management should be done.
