About Oxykill Herbicide
Oxykill herbicide is a selective, pre-emergence herbicide containing Oxyfluorfen 23.5% EC as its active ingredient. It is widely used to control broadleaf weeds, sedges and certain grassy weeds in rice, tea, onion and mentha. It control weeds that compete with crops for nutrients, water, sunlight and space and keep fields free from weeds during the early stages of crop growth.

Mode of Action: Oxyfluorfen belongs to the diphenyl ether group of herbicides. It inhibits the PPO (Protoporphyrinogen Oxidase) enzyme, which is essential for plant growth. As a result, targeted weeds are unable to survive and die quickly after exposure.

Method of Application
Apply Oxykill using a knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat-fan or flood-jet nozzle to ensure uniform coverage of the soil surface.
Best Time to Spray
- Apply before weed emergence.
- In transplanted crops, apply within a few days after transplanting as per label recommendations.
- Spray during morning or evening hours.
- Avoid spraying during windy conditions or before rainfall.
- Do not apply on waterlogged soil.
