About Targa Super Herbicide
Targa Super herbicide is a selective, post-emergence herbicide containing Quizalofop-Ethyl 5% EC as its active ingredient. It is used to control grassy weeds in soybean, cotton, groundnut, black gram and onion crops without harming broadleaf crops when used as recommended. It helps to control weeds that compete with crops for water, nutrients and sunlight, reducing crop growth and yield.

Mode of Action: Quizalofop-Ethyl belongs to the Aryloxyphenoxy-propionates group of herbicides. It inhibits the ACCase (Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase) enzyme, which is essential for fatty acid synthesis in grass weeds. After absorption through the leaves, it moves throughout the weed plant, stopping growth and eventually causing weed death.

Method of Application
Foliar Spray: Apply Targa Super using a knapsack, battery-operated or power sprayer fitted with a flat-fan nozzle. Ensure uniform coverage of weed foliage for effective control.
Best Time to Spray
- Soybean: 20–24 Days After Sowing (DAS)
- Cotton: 15–27 DAS
- Groundnut: 19–25 DAS
- Black Gram: 14–22 DAS
- Onion: 13–27 Days After Transplanting
Apply when weeds are actively growing and at an early growth stage.
