About Chempa herbicide
Chempa herbicide is a selective, systemic, broad-spectrum, acts as both pre-emergence and early post-emergence herbicide containing Pyrazosulfuron-Ethyl 70% WDG, widely used in rice for the control of sedges, grasses, and broadleaf weeds during the early stages of crop growth by helping rice plants grow without competition for nutrients, water, and sunlight.
Chempa herbicide Technical Name
Pyrazosulfuron-Ethyl 70% WD
Product Specifications
Mode of Entry: Systemic
Time of Application: Pre-emergence and early post-emergence
Mode of Action: Pyrazosulfuron-Ethyl belongs to the sulfonylurea group of herbicides. It is absorbed through the roots, shoots, and leaves of weeds and moves throughout the plant.
It inhibits the enzyme Acetolactate Synthase (ALS), which is essential to produce amino acids required for plant growth. As a result, targeted weeds stop growing, become yellow, and eventually die.
Key Features & Benefits Chempa herbicide
