About Agil Herbicide
Agil herbicide is a selective, post-emergence herbicide containing Propaquizafop 10% EC as its active ingredient. It is used to control grassy weeds in a wide range of broadleaf crops, including soybean, black gram, groundnut, cotton, onion, tomato, chilli, chickpea, cluster bean, jute, sesame, red gram, turmeric, potato and mint that compete for water, nutrients, sunlight, and space, reducing crop growth and yield. Agil effectively controls these weeds after emergence, helping crops grow healthier and more efficiently.

Mode of Action: Agil Herbicide is absorbed through the leaves of grassy weeds and translocated throughout the plant. It inhibits fatty acid synthesis by blocking the ACCase enzyme, which is essential for weed growth.
As a result:
- Weed growth stops within 1–3 days after application.
- Yellowing appears within 5–10 days.
- Complete weed control is generally achieved within 2–3 weeks, depending on weed species and environmental conditions.

Method of Application
Apply Agil as a foliar spray using a knapsack sprayer, power sprayer, or tractor-mounted sprayer. Ensure thorough coverage of actively growing grassy weeds.
Best Time to Spray
- Apply when weeds are at the 2–4 leaf stage.
- Spray when weeds are actively growing.
- Ensure adequate soil moisture.
- Spray during calm weather and avoid windy conditions.
- Soybean and black gram: 15-20 days after sowing
- Onion: 15 days after transplanting
- Tomato and chilli: 20 days after transplanting
- Jute, cluster bean, chickpea and sesamum: 20 days after sowing
- Ground nut: 22 days after sowing
- Cotton: 25 days after sowing
Compatibility, Safety & Storage
Tank-Mix Compatibility
