About Sefina Insecticide
Sefina Insecticide is a BASF product. It contains Afidopyropen 50 g/L DC and is powered by BASF’s active ingredient Inscalis. It belongs to the new chemical class called Pyropenes and is classified by IRAC under subgroup 9D. It has a translaminar mode of action.
Sefina Insecticide is used against sucking pests such as whitefly and jassids. It is recommended in brinjal, cotton and cucumber crops.

Mode of Action: Sefina Insecticide acts on the chordotonal organs of target insects. These organs work as biological stretch sensors in insects. Inscalis acts selectively on these stretch sensors, making the insects deaf, disoriented and uncoordinated. The affected insects eventually stop feeding and die due to dehydration and starvation.

Foliar Spray: Apply Sefina Insecticide as a uniform foliar spray using the recommended dose and water volume. Use a knapsack, battery or power sprayer with a flat fan nozzle for proper crop coverage.
Spray Sefina Insecticide when whitefly or jassid infestation is noticed in the recommended crop. Prefer spraying in the early morning or late afternoon on a non windy day. Apply 1st spray at the initiation of pest and 2nd sprays 10 days after first spray. Spraying twice at an interval of 10 days offers good residual control
