About Roket Insecticide
Roket Insecticide (Profenofos 40% + Cypermethrin 4% EC) by PI Industries is a broad-spectrum, non-systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action. It is a combination insecticide containing Profenofos and Cypermethrin for effective control of chewing and sucking insect pests. Roket Insecticide is recommended for cotton and sugarcane. It helps control bollworm complex in cotton and early shoot borer in sugarcane. The product has fast knockdown, control of eggs and different larval stages, and translaminar action.

Product Specifications
Mode of Entry: Contact and stomach action
Mode of Action: Profenofos acts as an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor and causes hyperexcitation. Cypermethrin acts as a sodium channel modulator, keeping sodium channels open and causing hyperexcitation and, in some cases, nerve block.
Time of Application: Start application when insect infestation reaches the economic threshold level. Repeat applications at an interval of 10–15 days depending on environmental conditions.

Method of Application
Foliar Spray: Apply Roket as a foliar spray according to the recommended crop-wise dosage. The product can be applied using Knapsack sprayer, Foot sprayer, Stirrup pump and Motorized mist blower for low-volume application.
Water dilution depends on the type of spray pump and crop growth. Agitate the solution and prepare a homogeneous mixture.
Best Time to Spray
- Start application when insect infestation reaches the economic threshold level.
- Repeat applications at 10–15 days interval depending on environmental conditions.
- Do not spray against the wind direction.

Roket is compatible with most commonly used pesticides except alkaline materials.

- Avoid contact with the body. Do not inhale the product or spray mist.
- Wear protective clothing, hand gloves, cotton mask, eye shield, overalls and shoes while handling and spraying.
- Do not smoke, eat or drink during handling and application.
- Wash hands and body thoroughly after spraying.
Storage
Store the material in its original pack. Store in separate rooms or premises away from foodstuffs and other articles. Keep under lock and key. Store in a well-built, dry, well-ventilated place. Keep away from sparks, fire and open flame. Do not store with food and feed materials.
