Hamla 550 Insecticide is a Gharda Chemicals product. It contains Chlorpyrifos 50% + Cypermethrin 5% EC. Hamla 550 Insecticide is used as a broad-spectrum insecticide with contact and systemic action.
Hamla 550 Insecticide is used against pests such as aphid, jassids, thrips, whitefly, Spodoptera litura, spotted bollworm, pink bollworm, American bollworm, stem borer, leaf folder, shoot and fruit borer, diamond back moth and fruit borer. It is recommended in cotton, rice paddy, brinjal, cabbage and okra.

Mode of Action: Hamla 550 Insecticide contains Chlorpyrifos and Cypermethrin, which act on the insect nervous system. Chlorpyrifos affects normal nerve signal transmission, while Cypermethrin causes rapid disturbance in nerve function. This leads to poor coordination, paralysis and death of the treated insect.

Foliar Spray: Apply Hamla 550 Insecticide as a foliar spray using the recommended dose and water volume. Direct spray towards the crop and ensure uniform and proper coverage. It is recommended to use high-volume sprayers such as knapsack sprayers, foot sprayers, compression knapsack sprayers, battery sprayers, and ASPEE-HTP power sprayers fitted with a hollow cone nozzle. Use fine spray nozzle or hollow cone nozzle for better penetration
Spray Hamla 550 Insecticide when the target pest infestation is noticed in the recommended crop. Do not spray during unfavourable weather conditions. Prefer spraying in the early morning or late afternoon on a non windy day.

- Do not spray on windy days to prevent spray drift.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling or applying the product.

- Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes, and clothing.
- In case of accidental ingestion, inhalation, or eye exposure, seek immediate medical attention.
- Do not mix with bare hands.
- Wash contaminated clothes after use.
- The product is toxic to fish, honey bees and birds. Avoid use near water bodies and avoid spraying during active honey bee foraging.
- Do not use in high concentration with low and ultra low volume application equipment.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry, and well ventilated place away from direct sunlight, food, feed, fertilizers, and water sources. Keep the product in its original sealed container.
- Store insecticide packages in a separate room or storage area away from food articles. Keep the product under lock and key.
