It provides contact and ingestion activity against stem borers, leaf folders, bollworms, fruit borers, pod borers, and caterpillars. Cover is recommended for rice, cabbage, cotton, sugarcane, tomato, chilli, brinjal, pigeon pea, soybean, maize, groundnut and other crops as per the provided recommendation. Apply through foliar spray or soil application as per crop and pest recommendation.

Mode of Action: Cover belongs to the anthranilic diamide group of insecticides.
Chlorantraniliprole acts on ryanodine receptors (RyR) in insect muscles, causing uncontrolled release of calcium ions from muscle cells. This results in muscle contraction, paralysis, feeding cessation and eventual death of target insects. The product is most effective through ingestion, while also providing contact activity.
Time of Application: Apply Cover at the early stage of pest infestation or when pest population reaches the economic threshold level.

Method of Application
- Foliar Spray: Mix the recommended quantity of Cover with clean water and prepare a uniform spray solution. Apply as a foliar spray using suitable equipment such as
Knapsack sprayer, Manual or battery-operated sprayer, Foot sprayer, Power sprayer
Ensure complete and uniform coverage of the crop canopy. Use the Hollow cone nozzle.
- Soil Application: For sugarcane, application through soil drenching is recommended for termite and borer management. The application for the control of 3rd, 4th and 5th brood of Top borer in sugarcane should be done at the base of sugarcane seedling in the month of June.
Frequency: For Sugarcane: One spray at the stage of Early shoot borer. For Brinjal and Groundnut: Two sprays.
Best Time to Spray
Apply Cover at the early stage of pest infestation or when pest population reaches the economic threshold level. Avoid application during adverse weather conditions.
Compatibility, Safety and Storage

Safety Precautions
- Wear gloves, mask, full sleeve clothing and safety goggles while spraying.
- Do not spray on windy days to prevent spray drift.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling or applying the product.
- Wash hands, face and exposed skin thoroughly after spraying.
- Keep out of reach of children, pets and livestock.
- Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
- In case of accidental ingestion, inhalation or eye exposure, seek immediate medical attention.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight, food, feed, fertilizers and water sources. Keep the product in its original sealed container.

Additional Information
- Follow IRAC resistance management guidelines wherever applicable.
- Avoid repeated applications of insecticides with the same mode of action.
- Re-entry period is 24 hours after the spray.
- This product is toxic to silkworms; do not allow drift to nearby mulberry plantations and silkworm culture facilities; do not rotate mulberry plantations after crops where Chlorantraniliprole based formulation was commonly used in foliar or soil applications.
- Do not use Cover on crops other than those specified on the label or leaflet.
