About Dursban Insecticide
Dursban Insecticide (Chlorpyrifos 20% EC) by Crystal is a broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide that works through contact, stomach and fumigant action. It is used to control insect pests in paddy, cotton, sugarcane, groundnut, mustard, brinjal, cabbage, onion, apple, ber, citrus, tobacco and other crops. Crystal Dursban is effective against stem borer, leaf folder, gall midge, whorl maggot, aphids, bollworm, whitefly, cutworm, root grub, shoot and fruit borer, diamondback moth and other labelled pests. Apply through foliar spray, soil treatment or seed treatment as recommended.

Method of Application
- Foliar Spray: Measure the recommended quantity of Dursban and mix it with a small quantity of water. Add the remaining water while stirring properly to prepare a uniform spray solution. Apply using suitable equipment such as knapsack sprayer, foot sprayer, compression knapsack sprayer, battery sprayer or ASPEE HTP power sprayer.
- Soil Treatment: For soil insects and termite management, apply according to the crop specific recommendation.
- Seed Treatment: For wheat, barley and gram, apply the recommended quantity per kg of seeds.
Best Time to Spray
Apply Dursban according to pest incidence and crop recommendation. Spray in the direction of wind and avoid application during strong wind conditions.
