Reeva 5 Insecticide (Lambda Cyhalothrin 5% EC) is a broad spectrum, non-systemic insecticide that works through contact and stomach action with little fumigant activity. It is used to control insect pests in cotton, rice, brinjal, tomato, chilli, pigeon pea, onion, okra, chickpea, groundnut and mango. Reeva 5 is effective against bollworms, jassids, thrips, leaf folder, stem borer, green leaf hopper, gall midge, hispa, brown plant hopper, white backed plant hopper, fruit borer, pod borer, pod fly, leaf miner and hoppers. Apply through foliar spray according to the crop and target pest recommendation.

Mode of Action: Reeva 5 works through sodium channel modulation in target insects. Lambda Cyhalothrin affects the normal functioning of the insect nervous system.
The product belongs to the pyrethroid chemical subgroup and is classified under IRAC Group 3A.
Time of Application: Apply Reeva 5 at the pest initiation stage or when the pest reaches the economic threshold level. Repeat the spray depending on pest severity.

Method of Application
Foliar Spray: Apply Reeva 5 as a high-volume foliar spray using the crop specific dose and water volume given in the dosage table. Prepare a uniform spray solution and ensure thorough coverage of the crop. Use equipment such as bucket sprayer, rocking sprayer, stirrup pump sprayer, knapsack sprayer, foot sprayer, wheelbarrow sprayer, compression knapsack sprayer, battery sprayer and ASPEE HTP power sprayer. For low volume spraying, a motorized knapsack mist blower cum duster can be used.
Best Time to Spray
Spray during the cooler hours when wind speed is minimum and spray in the direction of the wind to help reduce spray drift.
Consult an agronomist before mixing Reeva 5 with other crop protection products.
Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight, food, feed, fertilizers and water sources. Keep the product in its original sealed container.
