About Meothrin Insecticide
Meothrin Insecticide is a Sumitomo Chemical India product. It contains Fenpropathrin 30% EC and is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide. It works through contact and ingestion action.
Meothrin Insecticide is used against pests such as pink bollworm, spotted bollworm, American bollworm, whitefly, thrips, mites, shoot and fruit borer, yellow stem borer and leaf folder. It is recommended in cotton, chilli, brinjal, okra, tea and paddy rice crops.

Mode of Action: Meothrin Insecticide interferes with the kinetics of voltage gated sodium channels in the insect nervous system. This disturbs normal nerve signal transmission and causes paralysis in the target pest. As a result, the insect loses normal activity and eventually dies.

Foliar Spray: Apply Meothrin Insecticide as a uniform foliar spray using the recommended dose and water volume. Use a knapsack, battery or power sprayer with a flat fan nozzle for proper crop coverage.
Spray Meothrin Insecticide at the time of early pest infestation. Ensure proper coverage of the crop for best results.
