About Multiplex Nisarga
Multiplex Nisarga (Trichoderma viride 1.5% W.P.) is a bio-control fungus that protects the root system against root-knot nematodes and soil borne fungal diseases. It effectively controls root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita) along with wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum or Fusarium solani, and root rot caused by Sclerotium rolfsii, in crops such as tomato, brinjal, carrot and okra. Nisarga works through antibiosis and competition for nutrients, and is recommended as a seed treatment, nursery bed treatment and soil application before transplanting, along with a main field broadcast option for wider use.

Mode of Action
Nisarga works through Trichoderma viride, a fungal bioagent that suppresses pathogenic fungi through antibiosis, using secondary metabolites, and by competing with them for nutrients. It secretes cellulase and chitinase enzymes that destroy the cell wall of disease causing pathogenic fungi or bacteria, and it protects the root system against root-knot nematodes and the soil borne pathogens they are associated with.

Method of Applications
- Seed Treatment: Make a slurry by mixing 20 gm of Multiplex Nisarga in 20 ml of water and use this solution to coat 1 kg of seed. After coating, dry the seeds in shade before sowing. Do not apply Nisarga to chemically treated seeds.
- Nursery Bed Treatment: Apply nursery beds with Multiplex Nisarga at 50 gm per square metre.
- Soil Application (Crop Specific): Apply Trichoderma Viride 1.5% W.P. at 5 kg per hectare with 5 tonnes per hectare of enriched FYM to the soil before transplanting.
- Main Field Broadcast: Mix 2 kg of Multiplex Nisarga in 200 kg of well decomposed compost, or alternatively in 90 kg of Multiplex Annapurna, and broadcast over 1 acre of land.
- FYM Enrichment: To enrich farm yard manure, add 1 kg of Trichoderma Viride 1.5% W.P. to 1 tonne of farm yard manure or compost. Leave the enriched FYM under shade for 15 days, maintaining optimum moisture, and mix thoroughly at an interval of 5 days.
- Equipment Used in Application: Seed treatment drums.
Best Time to Apply: Apply Nisarga before sowing, before transplanting, or during nursery and field preparation, as given. It is not phytotoxic to the crop at the recommended dosage.

Compatible with most bio-fertilizers and bio-pesticides. Do not mix with fungicides.
