About Sumi Hoshi
Sumi Hoshi (Gibberellic Acid 0.001% L) by Sumitomo Chemical India is a highly effective plant growth regulator that acts synergistically with plant metabolism to accelerate the plant's growth functions. It effectively increases the immunity of crops and helps prevent flower and fruit drop in crops such as paddy, cotton, sugarcane, grapes, and brinjal, while enhancing photosynthesis and internodal length. By stimulating hormonal and enzymatic activity, Hoshi improves the physiological efficiency of the crop to increase both the yield and quality of produce. It is compatible with all commonly used fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides except Bordeaux mixture, and is applied as a foliar spray in recommended crops.

Mode of Action: Gibberellic acid acts synergistically with plant metabolism to accelerate growth functions, stimulating hormonal and enzymatic activity in the plant. Combined with hydrolyzed protein, seaweed extract, and micronutrient sulphates (iron, manganese, zinc, magnesium), it improves photosynthesis, increases internodal length, and boosts overall plant immunity helping prevent flower and fruit drop from adverse weather or pest pressure.
Time of Application: Crop-specific; spray uniformly on foliage during the cool hours of the day.

Method of Application: Foliar Spray, using high-volume equipment such as a bucket sprayer, stirrup pump sprayer, foot sprayer, wheel barrow sprayer, knapsack sprayer, compression knapsack sprayer, compression knapsack battery sprayer, or ASPEE HTP power sprayer; for low-volume spraying, use a knapsack mist blower-cum-duster.
Best Time to Spray: Spray during the cool hours of the day, ensuring uniform coverage of foliage on all parts of the plant. Repeat the application if rain occurs within six hours of spraying. Shake the bottle well before use.
