Mode of Action

Dinotefuran: A third-generation neonicotinoid. It acts as an agonist of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect's central nervous system. It binds to these receptors, causing continuous nerve excitation, which rapidly leads to paralysis and death.

Pymetrozine: A pyridine azomethine compound. It acts as a selective feeding blocker (neural inhibitor). The moment a sucking pest (like a hopper or aphid) comes into contact with or ingests Pymetrozine, its stylet (feeding tube) is paralyzed. The insect stops feeding immediately and eventually dies of starvation within a few days, though crop damage stops instantly.

Key Features & Benefits

Dual Mode of Action: Combines two distinct chemical classes to lower the risk of insect resistance.

Immediate Feeding Cessation: Stops pests from feeding on plant sap almost instantly after application.

Systemic and Contact Activity: Acts via direct contact and moves systemically inside plant leaves and stems.

Rain fastness: Absorbs rapidly into plant parts, maintaining performance even after light or moderate rain.

Halox Duo is combination of two distinct chemical classes to provide immediate crop protection and long-lasting residual control. The WG (Water Dispersible Granule) formulation dissolves rapidly in water, ensuring uniform coverage without dust generation during mixing.

Dual-Action Synergy: Combines a fast-acting nerve poison with an immediate feeding blocker, preventing pests from causing further crop damage the moment they are exposed.

Highly Systemic & Translaminar: The chemical moves upward through the plant's vascular system (acropetal movement) and across the leaf surface, reaching pests hiding on the undersides of leaves or at the base of the plant.

Rain fastness: Quickly absorbs into the plant foliage, making it highly resistant to being washed away by rain a few hours after application.

Anti-Resistance Tool: Because it uses two completely different modes of action, it is highly effective against pests that have developed resistance to traditional organophosphates or standard neonicotinoids.

Phyto tonic Effect: Often leaves the crop looking greener and healthier by completely eliminating the stress caused by sap-sucking insects.

Application Guidelines and Safety

Timing: Spray during the cooler hours of the day (early morning or late afternoon) to avoid rapid evaporation and chemical drift. Avoid applying on windy or rainy days.

Coverage: Ensure uniform coverage of the crop canopy for maximum effectiveness. You may mix an adjuvant (spreader/sticker) for better adherence to the leaves.

Safety Gear: Always wear protective gear, including gloves, goggles, and a mask, to prevent contact with skin and eyes. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application.

Pollinator Safety: Since it can be harmful to beneficial insects if misapplied, spraying during early morning or late evening minimizes the risk to active pollinators.
