FIPRONIL is a broad-spectrum, moderately systemic insecticide acts by contact and ingestion. It belongs to the new class of phenylpyrazole insecticides. It acts as a nerve poison by blocking gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) regulated chloride channels.
