About Katyayani Hattrick
Hattrick (Trichoderma harzianum) by Katyayani is a bio fungicide available in liquid formulation, containing a high concentration of natural live Trichoderma harzianum fungus. It effectively controls capsule rot, wilt, root rot, foot rot, damping off and other fungal infections in crops such as cardamom, tomato, brinjal, carrot, okra, chickpea, maize and paddy. When applied to the soil or seeds, it colonizes the plant root zone and offers protection against a wide range of soil borne fungal diseases. Hattrick works through competition, mycoparasitism, antibiosis, and induced systemic resistance, and serves as an eco-friendly alternative to chemical fungicides.
Katyayani Hattrick Technical Composition
Trichoderma harzianum (CFU count: 2 x 10⁸ CFU/ml min.)
Mode of Entry: Absorbed through soil and seeds, establishing in the root zone.
Mode of Action: Hattrick works through Trichoderma harzianum, which competes with harmful fungi for space and nutrients in the root zone. It also works through mycoparasitism, attacking and parasitizing fungal pathogens by coiling around them and secreting enzymes that break down the pathogen's cell wall. It produces antibiotic compounds that inhibit fungal growth, and triggers induced systemic resistance (ISR), which activates the plant's own natural defense mechanisms against fungal infection.

Katyayani Hattrick Expert Advice
"For best results, apply Hattrick around the root zone at the early stages of the crop, mixed with compost or well-decomposed manure, since this gives Trichoderma harzianum time to establish before fungal pathogens take hold. Since it's a live fungal culture, avoid mixing it with chemical fungicides." – BigHaat Agronomy Expert
