Mode of Action: It is a post-emergent herbicide, it kills plants after they have emerged from the soil. It is a non-selective herbicide, which means it can kill most plants, regardless of their type or species. It contains glyphosate, which inhibits an enzyme called EPSP synthase in plants. This enzyme is essential for the synthesis of aromatic amino acids, which are needed for various plant functions. By blocking this enzyme, Roundup disrupts the plant’s metabolism and causes gradual death.

Additional Information
- For paddy pre-plant application, the product is to be applied before planting paddy crop (at least 3 days before) when weeds have emerged in the field. This product should not be applied in standing paddy crop at any cost.
