About Areva Insecticide
Areva Insecticide is a Dhanuka product. It contains Thiamethoxam 25% WG and is a granular soluble neonicotinoid insecticide. It has a broad-spectrum systemic, contact and ingestion insecticidal activity used at low dose for the control of recommended insect pests.
Areva Insecticide is used against sucking, soil and leaf dwelling pests such as stem borer, gall midge, leaf folder, brown plant hopper, white backed plant hopper, green leaf hopper, thrips, jassids, aphids, whiteflies, mosquito bug and psylla. It is used in rice, cotton, okra, mango, wheat, mustard, tomato, brinjal, tea, potato, citrus and cumin crops.

Mode of Entry: Systemic, contact and ingestion

Mode of Action: Thiamethoxam acts on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect central nervous system. This disrupts normal nerve signal transmission and causes muscle paralysis in the target pest. Areva is rapidly absorbed and translocated through the plant, helping control pests that feed on treated plants.

Foliar Spray and Soil Drench: Apply Areva Insecticide as a foliar spray using the recommended dose and water volume. For tomato whitefly soil drenching, follow the crop specific recommendation. Use a suitable sprayer for uniform coverage.
Spray Areva Insecticide when pest infestation is noticed or when the pest population reaches Economic Threshold Level.
