About EM-1 Insecticide
EM-1 Insecticide is a Dhanuka product. It contains Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG and is mentioned as a systemic and contact insecticide. It is a water-soluble granular formulation.
EM-1 Insecticide is used against bollworms, fruit and shoot borer, diamond back moth, fruit borer, thrips, mites, pod borer and tea looper. It is recommended on cotton, okra, cabbage, chilli, brinjal, redgram, chickpea, grapes and tea.

Apply EM-1 Insecticide as a foliar spray using a knapsack sprayer with hollow cone nozzle or power operated sprayer machine for proper crop coverage.
Spray EM-1 Insecticide in the morning or evening. Do not spray when temperatures are above 30°C. Spray when relative humidity is high and avoid spraying when relative humidity is less than 40 percent. During the day, do not spray when wind speed is more than 15 km per hour. Do not spray if wind is calm or below 5 km per hour, or when wind direction is not steady.

- Do not spray on windy days to prevent spray drift.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling or applying the product.
- Wash hands, face, and exposed skin thoroughly after spraying.
- Keep out of reach of children, pets, and livestock.
- Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes, and clothing.
- In case of accidental ingestion, inhalation, or eye exposure, seek immediate medical attention.
- Keep the insecticide away from children and animals.
- Read and follow all instructions on the leaflet before use.
- Use goggles, gloves and protective clothing while handling the product.
- Do not come in contact with skin and eyes.
- Wear a face mask to avoid inhalation of the product.
- Change clothing after insecticide handling is complete.
- Take bath as early as possible after handling the insecticide.
- Do not eat, drink, smoke or chew betel leaves while handling the insecticide.
- If insecticide comes in contact with skin, wash it immediately with plenty of fresh water.
- Do not use on crops and pests other than those mentioned on the product leaflet.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry, and well ventilated place away from direct sunlight, food, feed, fertilizers, and water sources. Keep the product in its original sealed container.
- Store the insecticide in its original container in a separate room or premises away from rooms or premises used for storing other articles, particularly food articles. Keep it in a separate almirah under lock and key.
