About Media Insecticide
Media Insecticide is a Dhanuka product. It contains Imidacloprid 17.8% SL and is a insecticide from the neonicotinoid group. It has systemic, translaminar, contact and stomach action, and is used for controlling sucking insect pests and termites in recommended crops.
Media Insecticide is used against aphids, jassids, thrips, whiteflies, brown plant hopper, white backed plant hopper, green leaf hopper, termite, hopper, leaf miner, psylla and flea beetle. It is recommended in cotton, paddy, chilli, sugarcane, mango, sunflower, okra, citrus, groundnut, grapes and tomato.

Mode of Action: Imidacloprid acts as an antagonist by binding to postsynaptic nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect central nervous system. This disrupts normal nerve signal transmission in the pest. The insect loses normal nervous activity, which leads to paralysis and control of the target pest.
