About Polo Insecticide
Polo Insecticide is a Syngenta product containing Diafenthiuron 50% WP. It is a broad-spectrum insecticide with systemic and contact action.
Polo Insecticide is recommended in crops such as cotton, cabbage, chilli, brinjal, cardamom, citrus, watermelon, okra and tomato. It helps control pests such as whiteflies, aphids, thrips, jassids, diamond back moth, mites, capsule borer and red spider mites.

Foliar Spray: Measure the required quantity of Polo Insecticide and mix it well with a small quantity of water. Add the remaining quantity of water with thorough agitation and spray uniformly for complete crop coverage using a suitable sprayer.
- Cotton: Apply the first spray during initial pest appearance and repeat one or two sprays at 15 days interval depending on pest intensity.
- Cabbage: Apply the first spray at 30 DAT or when pests first appear, followed by 2 to 3 sprays at 10 to 15 days interval depending on pest intensity.

- For field level use, consult an agronomist before tank mixing Polo Insecticide with other products.
Safety Precautions
- Wear gloves, mask, full sleeve clothing, and safety goggles while spraying.
- Do not spray on windy days to prevent spray drift.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling or applying the product.
- Wash hands, face, and exposed skin thoroughly after spraying.
- Keep out of reach of children, pets, and livestock.
- Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes, and clothing.
- In case of accidental ingestion, inhalation, or eye exposure, seek immediate medical attention.
- Do not use cooking utensils for preparing spray solution.
- Use a stick for stirring the spray solution.
- Do not blow nozzles with mouth.
- Do not store unused spray solution.
- Do not contaminate streams, ponds or waterways with leftover spray material.
- Do not spray when bees are active.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry, and well ventilated place away from direct sunlight, food, feed, fertilizers, and water sources. Keep the product in its original sealed container.
