About Tapuz Insecticide
Tapuz Insecticide (Buprofezin 15% + Acephate 35% WP) by ADAMA is a broad-spectrum pre-mix insecticide combining two different modes of action with systemic, contact and stomach action. Buprofezin acts as an insect growth regulator by inhibiting moulting, while Acephate acts on the insect nervous system through disruption of acetylcholine transmission, resulting in paralysis and death. Tapuz is recommended for Paddy, Cotton and Okra. It controls Brown plant hopper and White backed plant hopper in paddy, Jassids, Thrips and Whitefly in cotton, and Jassids and Whitefly in okra. It is also used as an early-season spray for quicker, long-lasting and effective BPH and WBPH management in rice.
