Touchdown Herbicide (Glyphosate 41% SL IPA Salt) by Syngenta is a non-selective, systemic, post-emergence herbicide. It is used to control annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds in tea and non-cropped areas. Syngenta Touchdown translocates from leaves to roots after spraying, it stops weed growth completely, causing weeds to turn yellow, dry, and die. It works best on young, actively growing weeds and is useful for keeping field bunds, plantation rows, and non-cropped areas clean.
Touchdown herbicide is a non-selective, systemic, and post-emergence herbicide containing Glyphosate 41% SL as its active ingredient. It is used to control annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds in tea plantations and non-cropped areas.
Since it is a non-selective herbicide, it can damage any green crop tissue if spray drift occurs.
Glyphosate 41% SL (Isopropylamine Salt of Glyphosate)
Mode of Entry: Systemic
Time of Application: Post-emergence
Mode of Action: Touchdown Herbicide inhibits the EPSP synthase enzyme responsible for the synthesis of essential amino acids in weeds. After spraying, the herbicide moves from leaves to roots through translocation and gradually stops weed growth, and starts yellowing, dry and die.
