Belt Expert Insecticide Technical Details
Technical Content: Flubendiamide 19.92% + Thiacloprid 19.92% w/w SC (480 SC)
Mode of Entry: Contact and digestive
Mode of Action: Belt Expert acts through its two active ingredients, flubendiamide and thiacloprid.
- Flubendiamide acts as a ryanodine receptor disruptor of cellular calcium movement, which is important for muscle contractions. This leads to lethargy, paralysis, rapid feeding cessation, and insect death.
- Thiacloprid acts as an agonist on the insect’s postsynaptic nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in motor neurons. This leads to an over-stimulation of the nervous system, ultimately killing the insect.
