About Alecto Insecticide
Alecto Insecticide is an Indofil product. It contains Broflanilide 20% SC and is a meta diamide insecticide and belongs to IRAC Group 30.
Alecto Insecticide is used against shoot and fruit borer, thrips, jassids, diamond back moth, tobacco caterpillar, fruit borer and fall armyworm. It is recommended in brinjal, cabbage, chilli, maize and okra.

Mode of Action: Broflanilide acts on the insect nervous system by binding to GABA receptors. It alters the normal transmission of nerve signals in the target pest. This causes over excitation of the nervous system, leading to uncontrolled movement and death of the insect.

- Wear gloves, mask, full sleeve clothing, and safety goggles while spraying.
- Do not spray on windy days to prevent spray drift.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling or applying the product.
- Wash hands, face, and exposed skin thoroughly after spraying.
- Keep out of reach of children, pets, and livestock.
- Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes, and clothing.
- In case of accidental ingestion, inhalation, or eye exposure, seek immediate medical attention.
- Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animal feed.
- Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin.
- Wash contaminated clothes and exposed body parts thoroughly after use.
- Wear full protective clothing, including rubber gloves, boots, goggles or face shield and rubber apron or hat while handling the product.
- The product is reported to be toxic to fish, aquatic invertebrates and honey bees. Avoid use in and around water bodies and during the active foraging period of bees.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry, and well ventilated place away from direct sunlight, food, feed, fertilizers, and water sources. Keep the product in its original sealed container.
- Store the insecticide in a separate room or storage area away from food articles. Keep it away from children, livestock and animal feed.
