Maxima is a broad-spectrum insecticide that belongs to the neonicotinoid class of insecticides.

Maxima Insecticide is effective against a wide range of sucking pests, including aphids, thrips, whiteflies, leafhoppers, beetles, and some lepidopteran pests.

It is particularly effective in controlling pests that have developed resistance to other insecticides.

Maxima Insecticide Composition and Technical Details

Technical Name: Thiamethoxam 25 % WG

Mode of Entry: Systemic

Mode of Action: Maxima acts on the central nervous system of insects, causing irreversible blockage of postsynaptic nicotinergic acetylcholine receptors. This results in rapid pulse leading to hyperexcitation, convulsions, paralysis and finally to death.
