BACF Optus Insecticide is Emamectin Benzoate 1.9 % Emulsion Concentrate (EC) formulation.
Emamectin Benzoate belongs to the ivermectin family. Emamectin Benzoate is broad spectrum, high efficacy and low toxicity type of insecticide cum acaricide.

BACF Optus Insecticide Technical Details

Technical Name: Emamectin Benzoate 1.9% EC
Mode of Entry: Systemic and Contact action.
Mode of Action: Optus has both systemic and contact action. Once insect come in contact with a chemical, it intensifies the effect of neurotransmitter such as GABA, make the latter lose function and disturb neurotransmission and result in quick stop to each and die

It has a rain-fastness of 4 hours approximately.
This product is a modern insecticide of Avermectin group.
Optus (Emamectin Benzoate 1.9% EC) is a multipurpose world renowned soluble granular insecticide.
It gives effective control of caterpillars by its contact and stomach poison action.
Caterpillars stop causing damage to crops after 2 hours of the application of Optus.
Optus has a remarkable translaminar action by which it also controls the caterpillars present on the lower surface of the leaves.

BACF Optus (Emamectin Benzoate 1.9% EC) Usage & Crops

Recommended Crops: Field Crop like Cotton, Safflower, Soybean, Groundnuts, all Vegetables, all horticulture crops etc.
Target Pest: All insects belong to Lepidoptera, Diptera, Homoptera, Thysanoptera, Coleoptera and mites insects
Dosage: 2ml per lit of water, 30 ml per 15 lit pump
Method of Application: Foliar spray
