Vidyut (Paclobutrazol 40% SC w/w) by Sumitomo Chemical India Ltd. is a systemic plant growth regulator that inhibits gibberellin biosynthesis, acting as a nutrient channelizer to help the crop make more effective use of nutrients available from fertilizers. It effectively improves branching and induces flowering in crops such as pigeon pea (red gram) and soybean, supporting better development of fruits, branches, and flowers. By promoting a bushy plant shape with thicker, healthier stems and reducing internodal distance, Vidyut channels the plant's energy toward flowering and fruit development, improving fruit colour, size, and overall yield. It is applied as a foliar spray at the flowering initiation stage using a knapsack sprayer, in recommended crops.

Method of Application: Foliar Spray, using a knapsack sprayer, applied at the flowering initiation stage.
Best Time to Spray: Spray in the direction of the wind to avoid prolonged exposure to spray mist. Do not exceed the recommended dose applying at a higher concentration than recommended may be detrimental to normal plant development.
