About Phendal Insecticide
Phendal Insecticide (Phenthoate 50% EC) by Coromandel is a broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide with contact, stomach, ovicidal and repellent action. It provides rapid knockdown and long-term control of insect pests and acts as a cholinesterase inhibitor. Phendal Insecticide is recommended for paddy, groundnut, cotton, black gram, gram, green gram and cardamom. It controls rice caseworm in paddy, leaf webber in groundnut, bollworm and pink bollworm in cotton, Bihar hairy caterpillar in black gram and green gram, pod borer in gram and green gram, and thrips in cardamom.

Method of Application
Foliar Spray: Apply Phendal according to the recommended crop-wise dose. The product can be applied using suitable spraying equipment such as knapsack sprayer, foot sprayer and stirrup pump. Motorised mist blowers can be used for low-volume application.
Water dilution depends on the type of spray pump and crop growth. Agitate the solution and prepare a homogeneous mixture.

Phendal is compatible with almost all insecticides, fungicides and fertilizers except those having an alkaline nature such as lime sulphur.
Safety Precautions
- Keep out of reach of children, pets and other animals.
- Avoid inhalation of the product and spray mist.
- Wear protective clothing, hand gloves, cotton mask, eye shield, overalls and shoes while handling and spraying.
- Do not smoke, eat or drink during handling and application.
- Wash hands and body thoroughly after spraying.
- Do not spray against the wind.
Storage
Store the material in its original pack. Store in separate rooms or premises away from foodstuffs and other articles. Store in a well-built, dry, well ventilated place. Keep away from sparks, fire and open flame. Do not store with food and feed materials.
