Mode of Action: Council Activ contains Triafamone and Ethoxysulfuron with two modes of action. Triafamone enters weeds through the roots and leaves, while Ethoxysulfuron is mainly absorbed through the leaves. Both active ingredients inhibit acetolactate synthase, or ALS, which affects weed growth and leads to control of susceptible weeds.

Method of Application
Apply Council Activ Herbicide as a post emergence spray using a suitable knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat fan nozzle. Mix the recommended quantity with water and spray uniformly over the weeds.
Best Time to Spray
- Apply when weeds are at the 1 to 2 leaf stage.
- The product can be applied as a post-emergence herbicide in both transplanted and direct seeded rice.
