About Tracer Insecticide
Tracer Insecticide (Spinosad 45% SC) by Corteva is a biological insecticide belonging to the spinosyn group, used for the management of chewing insect pests in crops. It provides effective control of bollworms, fruit borers, pod borers, shoot and fruit borers and thrips in crops such as cotton, chilli, red gram, brinjal and grapes. Tracer contains Qalcova active ingredient derived from naturally occurring soil bacteria and provides a unique mode of action against target insect pests.

Mode of Entry: Contact and ingestion action
Mode of Action: Tracer contains Spinosad, an insecticide derived from metabolites of the naturally occurring soil bacterium Saccharopolyspora spinosa. Spinosad acts on insect nervous system receptors, causing disruption of nerve activity, paralysis and eventual death of target insects. It provides a unique mode of action and has no known cross-resistance with many existing insecticide groups.
Time of Application: Apply Tracer when pest incidence is observed and target insects are in susceptible stages.

Method of Application
Foliar Spray: Prepare the spray solution by mixing the recommended quantity of Tracer with clean water. Apply using suitable spraying equipment such as Knapsack sprayer,
Tractor-mounted sprayer, Low volume sprayer, Ensure uniform coverage of the crop canopy. Water volume may vary depending on crop stage, crop height and spraying equipment used.

- Apply Tracer when pest infestation is observed.
- Avoid spraying during active honey bee foraging periods.
