About Polyram Fungicide
Polyram Fungicide (Metiram 70% WG) by BASF is a non-systemic foliar fungicide with protective action. It is used for the management of fungal diseases in different crops and provides broad-spectrum disease control through its multisite mode of action. Polyram Fungicide is recommended in crops such as tomato, groundnut, potato, grapes, rice, chilli, apple, black gram, cotton, onion, soybean, mango, pomegranate and cucumber. It helps manage diseases such as Alternaria blight, Tikka, early blight, late blight, downy mildew, blast, brown spot, anthracnose, scab, Marssonina blotch, Alternaria blotch, Cercospora leaf spot, grey mildew, purple blotch, Stemphylium, Myrothecium leaf spot, fruit spot and powdery mildew.

Method of Application
Foliar Spray: Partly fill the sprayer with clean water, add the appropriate amount of Polyram 70% WG directly into the tank and fill the remaining volume with water under agitation. Apply as a foliar spray directed towards the crop foliage and ensure thorough coverage of the crop canopy. Suitable equipment includes a knapsack or high-volume sprayer fitted with a hollow cone nozzle.
Best Time to Spray
- Apply preferably during morning and evening hours.
- Apply with the onset of disease.
- The product can be applied prophylactically.
- Avoid application under high wind.
- Do not apply within 2 hours of anticipated rainfall.
Compatibility, Safety & Storage
Tank Mix Compatibility
The Polyram is an ideal tank-mix and spray-program partner. Consult an agronomist before mixing with other crop protection products.
Safety Precautions
- Wear suitable personal protective equipment including long-sleeved clothing, long trousers, water-resistant apron, rubber shoes/boots, nitrile gloves, N95 mask, goggles and face shield while mixing and spraying.
- Avoid inhalation and skin contact while diluting. Do not eat, drink or smoke while applying.
- If the product comes in contact with skin, wash with plenty of soap and water.
- The product is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates so avoid using in and around aquaculture.
- Avoid contamination of water bodies during application and equipment cleaning.
Storage
Store in the original container. Keep away from food and other articles. Store in a separate place under lock and key. Keep the storage area well-built, dry, and well ventilated.
Store away from children and livestock.

Additional Information
