Mode of Action: Nagata works by combining Ethion and Cypermethrin. Ethion inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, causing an accumulation of acetylcholine, which leads to continuous nerve signal transmission, paralysis, and eventually the death of the insect. Cypermethrin disrupts the insect’s nervous system by binding to sodium channels, preventing them from closing properly, which results in prolonged nerve excitation and rapid knockdown of the insect.
