Katyayani Paddy Guard Composition and Technical Details
-
Technical Name: Fenoxaprop-p-ethyl 6.9 EC
-
Mode of Entry: Systemic
-
Mode of Action: It contains Fenoxaprop-p-ethyl 6.9% EC, which acts as a selective, systemic herbicide with contact action. It is absorbed by the leaves and stems of the grassy weeds and translocated throughout the plant. The primary mode of action is the inhibition of fatty acid synthesis in the meristem tissue of the weeds, specifically targeting the enzyme Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase (ACCase).
