Anant Insecticide (Thiamethoxam 25% WG) by Rallis India Ltd. is a broad-spectrum systemic insecticide belonging to the neonicotinoid group. It provides quick stomach and contact action and is recommended for the management of sucking and other insect pests across rice, cotton, okra, mango, wheat, mustard, tomato, brinjal, tea, potato, citrus, rice nursery, cumin and grapes. Method of Application
- Foliar Spray: Measure the required quantity of Anant and mix well with a small quantity of water. Add the remaining quantity of water as specified and mix thoroughly to obtain complete crop coverage. Use Suitable equipment for proper spray coverage.
- Soil Drench: Recommended for Potato, Tomato and Grapes where specifically mentioned.
Best Time to Spray
- Tomato: First spray at initial appearance of pest; repeat 2–3 sprays at 10–15 days interval depending on pest intensity.
- Brinjal: First spray at initial appearance of pest; repeat 2–3 sprays at 15–21 days interval depending on pest intensity.
- Citrus: First spray at initial appearance of pest; repeat 2–3 sprays at 15–21 days interval depending on pest intensity.
- Grapes – Soil drench: First soil drench immediately after pruning, followed by another drenching at 30–40 days interval coinciding with berry development stage. Apply near the root zone of vines.
- Grapes – Foliar: First spray when insect pest reaches ETL; repeat one spray at 10–15 days interval depending on pest severity.
- Tomato – Soil drench: Apply to the root zone after transplanting as a soil drench once during the crop season.

Safety Precautions
- Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animal feed.
- Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin and inhalation of spray mist.
- Spray in the direction of the wind.
- Do not smoke, drink or chew anything while spraying.
- Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.
- Do not spray during the active honey bee foraging period.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight, food, feed and animal products. Keep the product in its original sealed container.
