Glycel herbicide is a non-selective, systemic herbicide containing Glyphosate 41% SL as its active ingredient. It is used to control annual and perennial weeds in tea plantations and non-cropped areas. It helps to maintain weed-free fields by eliminating unwanted vegetation, reducing competition for water, nutrients, and sunlight.
Glyphosate 41% SL
Mode of Entry: Systemic
Time of Application: Post-emergence
Mode of Action: Glyphosate inhibits the EPSP synthase enzyme in the shikimic acid pathway, which is essential for plant growth. It is absorbed through leaves and stems and moves throughout the weed, including underground parts. This disrupts vital plant processes, stops growth, and eventually causes weed death.
