About Matador Insecticide
Matador Insecticide (Lambda Cyhalothrin 4.9% CS) by Syngenta is a broad spectrum contact insecticide that works through contact and stomach action. It is used to control insect pests in paddy, cotton, brinjal, okra, tomato, grapes, chilli, soybean, pomegranate and cardamom. Syngenta Matador is effective against stem borer, leaf folder, bollworms, shoot and fruit borer, fruit borer, thrips, flea beetle, semilooper, pod borer and other labelled pests. Apply through foliar spray at the time of pest initiation or economic threshold level as recommended.

Method of Application
Foliar Spray: Apply Matador as a high-volume foliar spray using the crop specific dose and water volume given in the dosage table. Use a knapsack sprayer fitted with a fine mist nozzle or mist blower and ensure thorough coverage of the crop foliage.
Best Time to Spray
Spray preferably during the cooler hours when wind speed is minimum and spray in the direction of the wind to reduce spray drift.

Additional Information
- Matador is toxic to honeybees. Do not spray during the active foraging period of bees or during flowering where bees are visiting.
- The product is highly toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Avoid use near pisciculture, aquaculture and water bodies.
- Rotate Matador with insecticides having different modes of action and avoiding use at rates lower than the labelled recommendation as part of resistance management.
- Follow IRAC resistance management guidelines wherever applicable.
- Do not use Matador on crops other than those specified on the label or leaflet.
