Mode of Action: Shoot Bio Insecticide by Vedagna works through a contact mode of action. It disrupts the molting process of insects by acting as a chitin inhibitor and impacts the midgut membrane of insects, leading to their mortality within 48 hours of contact. The formulation includes biological extracts from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens and Streptomyces cyaneus, which enhance its effectiveness.

Vedagna Shoot Bio Insecticide Usage & Crops
Recommended Crops: All crops
Target Pests: leaf miner, mealy bug, stem, shoot borers, white fly and other sucking pests.
Dosage: 2-3 ml per litre of water for spray.
- It can be applied for stem and shoot borers by slow mixing of 500 to 750 ml with 5 kg Lush granules and 5 kg sand and even broadcasting in field 10-15 days after transplanting / sowing.
Method of Application: Foliar spray or Broadcasting.
