Izuki Fungicide Technical Details
Technical Content: Thifluzamide 26% + Kasugamycin 6% SC
Mode of Entry: Systemic
Mode of Action: Izuki's active ingredients, Thifluzamide and Kasugamycin, belong to different chemical classes and have different modes of action, providing a multi-pronged approach to disease control.
- Thifluzamide: It inhibits the biosynthesis of methionine, an essential amino acid for fungal growth and development. This disruption of methionine synthesis leads to the inhibition of protein synthesis and ultimately causes the death of the fungal pathogens.
- Kasugamycin: It interferes with protein synthesis in fungal pathogens by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, preventing the formation of functional proteins essential for their growth and survival.
