Mode of Action: Haloxyfop-R-Methyl belongs to the Aryloxyphenoxy Propionate group of herbicides. It inhibits the Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase (ACCase) enzyme, which is essential for fatty acid synthesis in grassy weeds. After being absorbed through the leaves, it moves throughout the weed plant, stopping growth and eventually causing the weeds to dry and die.
