About Biocare
Biocare (Metarhizium, Verticillium/Lrecanicillium and Beauveria consortium) by Vijaya Agro Industries is a bio insecticide used for controlling sucking pests on standing crops. It effectively controls whiteflies, gall fly, aphids, jassids, thrips, mealybugs, mites, and borer in crops such as turmeric, paddy, cotton and vegetables. By keeping sucking pest populations under check across their various growth stages, Biocare helps crops stay healthier and supports better quality production while lowering overall production cost. It works through fungal toxin action and is suitable for foliar spray or drip irrigation in recommended crops.
Biocare Technical Composition
Metarhizium, Verticillium/Lrecanicillium and Beauveria consortium (CFU count: 2 x 10⁹/ml)
Mode of Action
Biocare works through its consortium of Metarhizium, Verticillium/Lrecanicillium , and Beauveria, which produce toxin substances that act against the target insect. This action inhibits the insect at its various growth stages, which allows Biocare to keep pest numbers under control over time rather than offering just a one time knockdown.
Key Features and Benefits of Biocare
-
Controls a wide range of sucking pests: Effective against whiteflies, gall fly, aphids, jassids, thrips, mealybugs, mites and borer.
-
Three way fungal consortium: Combines Metarhizium, Verticillium/Lrecanicillium and Beauveria at a CFU count of 2 x 10⁹/ml, so the crop gets the benefit of three bio control agents working together instead of relying on just one.
-
Acts across insect growth stages: Inhibits the various growth stages of insects, which helps keep the pest cycle in check rather than only affecting adult insects.
-
Residue free pest control: Since Biocare works through natural fungal action, farmers get residue free insect control, which matters for crops meant for export or for buyers who are particular about residue levels.
-
Supports quality produce and lowers input cost: Helps growers achieve better quality production while also helping save on overall production cost.

Biocare Expert Advice
"Vijaya Agro Industries Biocare is applied as a foliar spray or through drip irrigation as soon as sucking pests appear on the crop. Make sure the spray covers the plant well, including the undersides of leaves where pests like whiteflies and mealybugs tend to settle, since the fungal agents in Biocare need direct contact with the insect to work."–BigHaat Agronomy Expert
