Katyayani Stopamite is a broad-spectrum miticide and acaricide, formulated with Propargite 42% + Hexythiazox 2% EC, designed for effective control of all life stages of mites—eggs, nymphs, and adults.
Its dual-mode of action combines the rapid knockdown of Propargite with the growth regulation properties of Hexythiazox, delivering quick feeding cessation, long-lasting protection, and resistance management. It helps prevent crop damage, reduce infestation recurrence, and improve crop quality.
Propargite 42% + Hexythiazox 2% EC
Dual Active Ingredients: Combines Propargite (contact acaricide) and Hexythiazox (growth regulator) for enhanced mite control.
Broad-Spectrum Miticide: Controls all developmental stages of mites—eggs, nymphs, and adults.
Dual Mode of Action: Acts both through contact and stomach ingestion.
Rapid Action: Delivers quick knockdown of mites after application.
Long Residual Effect: Offers extended protection, reducing the need for frequent applications.
Resistance Management: Targets multiple pathways, reducing the risk of resistance buildup.
Versatile Application: Suitable for key crops like Tea, Chilli, and Apple.
Effective Mite Control: Quickly reduces mite populations and prevents reinfestation.
Stops Feeding Immediately: Minimizes further crop damage after application.
Controls Hidden Stages: Effectively targets eggs and immature mites that are usually difficult to control.
Improves Crop Health: Reduces pest stress, leading to healthier plants and higher yields.
Fewer Sprays Needed: Long-lasting activity saves labor and cost over time.
Compatible with IPM Programs: Supports sustainable farming with lower environmental impact when used as directed.
Propargite (42%) – A contact acaricide that disrupts key metabolic processes in mites, leading to rapid mortality.
Hexythiazox (2%) – An Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) that prevents the development of eggs and immature mite stages, breaking the life cycle and preventing reinfestation.
Together, they offer a dual-action effect: quick knockdown and long-term developmental disruption.
Dose per Acre: 500 ml
Dilution: Use with sufficient water volume (typically 200 litres/acre) to ensure full coverage.
Application Method
Type: Foliar Spray
Apply at the early stage of mite appearance, before the population reaches the Economic Threshold Level (ETL).
Ensure uniform spray coverage, especially on the underside of leaves where mites typically reside.
Target Crops - Tea, Chilli, Apple,
Target Insects - Red Spider Mites, Yellow Mites, European Red Mites
