Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC
Mode of Entry: Systemic and contact action through ingestion and direct contact
Mode of Action: Chlorantraniliprole acts mainly when the target pest feeds on the treated plant. It binds to ryanodine receptors in the insect and disrupts calcium regulation within the muscle cells. This affects normal muscle function, leading to paralysis and feeding cessation. The product also has contact activity when the spray reaches the insect or its larvae directly.
Time of Application: Apply Chakraveer according to the crop, target pest and dosage recommendations given on the product label.
• Broad spectrum pest control: Chakraveer controls several labelled pests, including stem borers, leaf folders, diamondback moth, bollworms, tobacco caterpillar, termites, fruit borers, pod borers, fall armyworm and leaf caterpillars.
• Control across different pest stages: The provided information states that Chakraveer acts against hatching insects and other stages of pest development.
• Translaminar activity and rainfastness: Its translaminar action helps protect both leaf surfaces and supports rainfastness after application.
• Suitable for integrated pest management: The product is a green label insecticide suitable for integrated pest management strategies.
• Supports crop yield potential: Its pest protection allows crops to achieve their maximum yield potential when used as recommended.
