Mode of Action
Chlorantraniliprole belongs to the Anthranilic Diamide group (IRAC Group 28). It acts by activating ryanodine receptors in insect muscle cells, causing an uncontrolled release of calcium ions. This leads to immediate cessation of feeding, muscle paralysis, and eventual death of the insect. Insects stop damaging the crop within a few hours of exposure, providing effective and long-lasting protection.
