About SK Agrotech Fruit Fly Trap & Melon Fly Lure
SK Agrotech Fruit Fly Trap & Melon Fly Lure (funnel-type fruit fly trap with para-pheromone melon fly lure) by SK Agrotech is a ready-to-use trap-and-lure kit designed to monitor and mass-trap melon fly and related fruit flies in cucurbits and fruit crops. The disposable trap works together with the included Melon Fly Lure to attract and capture male flies through the male annihilation technique, helping farmers detect infestation early, bring down pest populations, and reduce fruit damage before egg-laying begins. Being an effective, non-toxic solution, it is safe for beneficial insects and well suited to IPM programmes across open-field vegetable and orchard crops.

SK Agrotech Fruit Fly Trap & Melon Fly Lure Expert Advice
"For best results, install the SK Agrotech Fruit Fly Trap & Melon Fly Lure from the flowering to early fruit-set stage, before the pest population builds up. Space traps evenly across the field and check catches regularly to stay ahead of infestation. Since melon fly maggots damage fruits internally and are hard to reach with sprays, early trapping is your strongest line of defence to replace the lure on schedule and use it alongside good field sanitation for season-long protection." - BigHaat Agronomy Expert
