About Ultimare Insecticides
Ultimare is a novel broad-spectrum insecticide from Jivagro, formulated with Broflanilide 20% w/w SC. It provides effective control of important chewing and sucking insect pests in vegetable crops, including shoot & fruit borers, thrips, jassids, diamondback moth and tobacco caterpillar. It is designed to provide rapid pest knockdown along with extended protection.

Mode of Action
Ultimare works through a novel mode of action by acting on insect RDL GABA receptors. This disrupts normal nerve transmission in the insect, resulting in paralysis and eventual mortality. Its unique mode of action can be useful as part of an insecticide resistance-management programme.
