Coreon is a broad spectrum, pre-emergence herbicide offered by Corteva Agriscience.

Coreon Herbicide helps in control of key grass, broadleaf and sedge weeds in transplanted rice crop.

It is a new generation herbicide in rice which gives flexibility to farmers with extended window of application (0-7 days after transplanting).

Coreon Herbicide Technical Details

Technical Content: Penoxsulam 0.97%+ Butachlor 38.8% SE

Mode of Action: Coreon is an in-can mixture of two different modes of action. It inhibits plant enzymes- Aceto Lactate Synthase (ALS), which is essential for the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids as well as it inhibits cell division in target weed.

Coreon Herbicide Usage & Crops

Recommended Crops: Rice

Targeted Weeds: Alternanthera Sp.,Barnyardgrass Watergrass (Echinochloa crusgalli), Fimbristylis miliaceae, Umbrellaplantm(Cyperus iria), Jungle grass (Echinochloa colonum), Marsilea quadrifoliata, Monochoria ,Cyperus difformis, Tules common (Scirpus acutus) and Waterprimrose (Ludwigia spp.)

Dosage: 800 -900 ml / Acre

Method of Application: Foliar spray
